7 Power Prayers to Supplement your Prayer Life

These are seven power prayers to supplement your personal prayer time with God.  Feel free to print these out and use them as you feel led by the Spirit.  Personal prayer time is so vital to an intimate relationship with God.  The honest, heart felt cries we make to God are properly supplemented by these more formulaic prayers.  Enjoy

Prayer of Delighting
Father God in Heaven,
We come boldly into your presence in the name of Jesus Christ. We have full access to the throne room through Jesus, so we come boldly before you God. We seek you now. We seek you Father in all your fullness.
We need you God, your guiding arm, your wisdom, your mighty power,
God you we delight in you,
Your perfect presence is joy to me!
God we delight in you.
God we delight in you.
(Repeat as needed as you enjoy the presence of God)

Prayer of Magnificence
God you are a Mystery to me,
you dwell in infinite time, you dwell beyond time itself,
there was no universe before you, and there was nothing before you. You are the originator of all things.
You dreamt me up inside your mind and decided I should exist.
You created an eternal soul for me.
You spun my DNA and placed the stars across the cosmos.
You made the animals for me to live with.
I'm in awe of you Lord.
Truly I ask the question: Who are you Lord really? Who are you really? Show me your glory!
Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all. (1 Chron 29:11)

Prayer of Holiness
Father Lord,
change me, mold me, shape me, transform me into the likeness of Christ Jesus.
Remove from me what displeases you,
shape and mold what is good in me,
develop my talents, shape my skills, renew my mind,
renew my spirit, renew my soul,
help me to not complain as I go through the times of testing and tribulation.
Guide me safely into your loving arms in perfect holiness in Christ Jesus, spotless and blameless on the day of Christ Jesus,
In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer of Mercy
Lord I am in need of your mercy today.
Please God, have mercy on me.
The Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
I grow weak Father, shine upon me. Release your angels in the name of Jesus to protect me.
I'm powerless Father, please take it from me.
Have mercy Father, have mercy, please have mercy, the flesh besets me, but you are greater God,
I have great faith in you, I trust in you, come quickly Father, and deliver me, in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer of Marriage Blessing
Beloved God, hear my prayer,
Father I bring my marriage before you,
You know all the moments, all the words, the emotions, the battles and the victories,
Lord, please draw us together always,
Marriage is under such attack Father,
Let us believe no lies about marriage and what it means,
Let us never part ways,
Let us always hold together,
Help us to give ground to one another,
Soften our hearts in conflicts,
We rebuke and cast our demons attacking our marriage,
We cancel demonic schemes against our marriage,
We loose angels to protect our marriage,
Lord build our marriage with eternal bonds,
May we always draw nearer to you God, and as such, draw nearer to each other, in Jesus name, amen.

Prayer of Melancholy
Father God, another day stretches out before me,
I am weary with this life, I'm tired of fighting the battle,
Everyday is a new struggle Father,
Everyday seems to turn more gray, and empty,
Lord, rise up and bring seasons of refreshing,
Lord, fill my cup with love to pour out to others,
Renew in me a right spirit, be with me in tribulation,
Help me not to give up,
I turn away from self, and focus on you God,
I turn toward you God in the gray day and tired day,
I cry out to you God, and wait on you patiently,
Lord help me to endure this life,
In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer of Sin Battle
Lord, the pit closes in around me,
I find myself enslaved once again to sin,
I've fallen into temptation,
The enemy has led me astray,
So I run toward my heavenly Father,
Who will help me in time of need,
I am grieved by my sin,
I am disturbed by the horror this door has opened,
I see the evil gaining a foothold,
Lord God Almighty, have mercy on me,
Please forgive me for my sin,
Please forgive me by the blood of Jesus,
I repent before you now God, I turn away from that sin, and toward you God,
I seek your Face,
Please forgive me, guide me out of darkness, I turn this problem over to you, please do what I can't do God.
Do the impossible. Set me free,
In Jesus name, Amen

Night Train

I was walking one night, down a dark dark road.

Imagining what my life might be like if I lived in a dream,

I came upon a crossroads, stopped in my tracks,

Down the road more murky I traveled

But soon the path had grown tiresome to me,

So I disappeared down on a misty ravine

Through the night, rushing water,

Humming in the brush,

Something beckons me forward,

A glowing mist caught my eye,

Came into the clearing, transfixed,

Can this be real? My mind accepted it,

A train stood tall and mighty,

It called me onto it,

Lured me with it's mystery,

So I climbed aboard, and the train took off,

I climbed to the  top, and sat upon the roof

The winds whipped through my hair,

Where are you taking me, I wondered

A place far away

Anywhere but here,

Was the train in my mind

Was the train an illusion?

It was a steady thing,

Breaking through the twilight

I delight in it,

It played music for me,

Some sort of mystery,

It explained itself to me,

Little by little revealing,

Stars over my head,

Moon lush and stolen glory,

Wonder takes me away,

I'm captured, stolen from the past days,

Where are you taking me?

The beauty, the intrigue,

These are things I'd never seen,

This urge controls me,

I never want to leave,

The night ride, a window,

To a sublime new reality,

Night train, never take me home,

You've stolen me away,

From all I thought I knew,

You reveal something new,

A reality I never had perceived,

I'm addicted to your railways,

I'm hooked to your wandering paths,

Never let me go,

Take me where you would will me to go,

So you bring me at dawn,

To a lush valley,

Light trickles in from the sky,

Dare you show me the mysterious,

You welcome me into a mysterious valley,

I climb down, depart the train,

Break through the foliage,

The valley beckons me,

The valley is bright, the night breaks

It threatens to awake me,

But I'm still dreaming,

A corridor appears, a hallway into the mountain side

Down, down, down through the rocks

They cut me, tear at me,

Will I ever make it back?

Something here wants to destroy me,

Will I survive this path?

Yet a presence beckons me,

Calls me home deeper, deeper still

Into the depths below, downward, downward,

Into the watery depths below,

The rocky cavern breaks,

To a wide opening,

A giant room opens before me,

What is this place?

Something has brought me here,

An image appears on the cavern walls

It lights up for me to see,

I am devoured by the image,

Of a shining glorious mystery,

It has come into me,

It has taken over me,

The mystery has discovered me,

The train serves the master,

The conductor of the train, appears before me,

And I am awe-struck,

The terror fills me,

The horror overwhelms me,

The realization cripples me,

I am broken, crushed, devastated,

But at the moment of complete collapse,

I realize, a candle has been lit in me,

It shines within me,

The conductor points down ahead,

Toward an opening in the rock face,

The cleft is dark, and cold,

I can't see my way,

Still the conductor beckons me,

'Go between the rocks, go all the way'

So I follow the light,

It's lit within me,

It burns ever so softly,

I began my blind journey,

Clinging to the walls,

Climbing my way out anxiously,

The rocks break

The sunlit valley before me,

I'm not who I used to be,

The day before me awakens,

Disappointed at first,

But fire within keeps burning,

So my journey begins,

An exile in a lost land,

The train and the conductor,

Have changed everything,

The journey begins today,

A new wondrous adventure,

In the depths of the valleys.

Poem to the Holy Father

The Living God is my shield, then why might I fear?
Father God is on his throne, watching over the nations
His Son sits at His right hand smiling upon His body,
He is the great architect of the redeemed soul

But your people have turned away my God
How can this be?
Your name is mocked in the public forums
Your enemies hold all the thrones of the Earth, and guard all the doors

The once city on a hill, the Christian nation of the West
Has become a pond of wickedness
She has become the filth of the world
Engaging in ever new and imaginative falsehoods and delusions

Your children indulge in all manner of depravity
A wicked and endless party, laughing to the gates of hell
Of which I was once chief mocker,
But you redeemed me Father, you saved me from my dark night

I rested my head on the rock, the rock at the bottom
I called on your Son and the heavens shook
And your angels tended to me
The stairway lay in front of me, of which now I walk

Now I see my Holy Father
Just how the nations have turned from you
How can this be?
My God, please set them free

They pretend you do not exist Father
They pretend you do not matter Father
They act as if all roads lead to your Holy place
They fornicate, abuse, steal, mislead, being drunken and foolish
And claim anger at you, for not giving them all their desires on a platter

But I will praise you Holy Father
I will speak to you in the morning and at night
I will worship you in truth and loving gratefulness
I will lock hands with my brothers and speak your prayer at midday

I declare my allegiance to you Father God
You are the Father of Isaac, of Jacob, of Israel, of the entire world, and even of Justin,

Your galaxies, nebula, planets, and star systems declare your power and majesty,
Your glory will be made known among all the nations of the Earth
Before your son Jesus Christ every knee, every person ever born or to be born will bow,
All worship, glory, honor and love to the King of Heaven Father God and to the King of Kings Christ Jesus,

Amen.

Kingdom of America Psalm

O God - How your great cities in the land you once blessed,
Have become Babylon, one by one!
Oh Lord, my heart aches for my country,
Oh Lord, why must you be silent now?

The enemy does not approach from a far off nation
Oh Father, they have taken it from within
Like larva sins have polluted these oaks
Your great forests rot from the inside out
These forests shake in the wind, that they may fall
City by city

Oh Lord - why are you silent when we need you most?
I call on you Father, now, to redeem this nation
Turn not from cries of the holy remant!

Your people pushed aside Father,
They fear to speak your name in public,
The utterance of your voice is forbidden in the schools
Violence and chaos beset the cities

Those of the synagogue of Satan choose our leaders
They tempt us day and night with glowing screens
They take our God given liberty
These dead turn our children to their ways

Nothing is sacred in the land of the free Father
All has fallen to lust, greed, envy, and sloth
Is there no honor left in the windy city?
Is there no compassion left in the white capitol?

Your holy remnant fights for you Father
But too many battles are now losses
We are run over oh great LORD!
On every corner the wicked prosper

Our leaders serve your enemy
Our media corrupts the young
Our businesses feed on the poor
Our banks topple the world in their greed

Oh Father, we beg you to come to our rescue!
Oh Father, please, redeem these fallen children!
Oh Father, revive the last of the church!
Oh Father, restore your great nation!

In you oh God - I place my trust
You will strike down the enemies of your children
You will restore the pure of heart
You will give comfort to the lonely

You are already victorious in heaven
These things now must come on Earth

Heavenly Father, you are with your children
You will lift them up and make them strong
You will shine down on these cities
And lead judges to remind the people
That the day of the LORD is near!

I await your actions Father,
I wait on you patiently
One last revival in these last days
Rise the church in holy saving!

The Answer is God

God walks me through dark places,
So I may better perceive his light
God cultivates my soul,
As he delivers me from grief and sorrow,
God lifts me up,
When I am at my lowest,
To show me that I need him in my life,
God sees me roaming the wilderness seeking an answer,
And calls out to me "This Way!"
God is like the butterfly I chase through the dark murky forest
God stands at my bed side,
As I sleep quietly he touches my mind,
I see dreams of his glory and peace,
His angels stand guard over me as I wake up groggy,
He watches as I make coffee and let out my dog,
He smiles as I read his book,
He touches my computer and leads my eyes,
To wondrous truths of his presence,
God points out the window to the snow falling,
Urging me to see the beauty of his creation
God hears my every word, inward and outward,
So he may know my soul through and through,
He follows me as I drive and listens to the thoughts I have,
His presence fills my heart when I meditate on his love,
He opens my heart with profound revelation,
He adds to me slowly, the things he knows I can be,
God sees my journeys about the town,
Always suggesting to me the right way to go
God allows me to walk through dark sadness and trials,
To build my faith and trust in his works,
Time and again he appears,
As Jesus on the water,
To remind me again and again,
That in the hardest times he will appear,
To save me from utter destruction
God suggests to me peace of mind,
Though I struggle to receive it,
God gives evidence constantly of his grace for me,
So that I may have that peace,
Of knowing that no matter what- I will always be under his care.
God is in the cavern in my dreams,
Showing me the places where Jesus dwelt,
God is in the writing on the walls speaking truth and mercy,
God holds no punishment for me, only teaches me through trials,
God is a loving God, a whole God, a complete God of wisdom,
He is always with me, I am never alone,
His love like a light shines within me.
