Must Watch / Books

Truth, truth, truth.  It is the most important thing, knowing what the truth is.  How can we know the truth?  By learning.  Despite the post-modernists who would have us throw away our books and trust them that "absolutely everything is relative" that is the making of ignorance.  I refuse to be ignorant.  And I love learning.

There is truth.  There are objective truths.  I know that.  The journey is not in vain.  Learning, journeying, wandering, it's magical.  I love studying, I love reading, I love watching videos, listening to audio presentations, and on and on and on.

I don't know about you, but I'm an audio-visual learner.  As much as I love reading books, I probably love presentations like these even more!

Let's be frank right from the start: Many of us need to get educated.  We haven't been educated well, especially in public education.  So we've got to educate ourselves.  Thankfully we live in the Information Age.  It's all at our fingertips on the internet.  Thank God for that!

These nine videos are "must watch" in my humble opinion.  There is some very eye opening information in these presentations.  Plenty of hard truth to take in about the world around us.  And plenty of hope too.

Just as important as video learning are books.  At the end of this page I've included a long list of books I highly recommend as well.

Enjoy!  Learning is fun.  Don't let the high school nightmare or college dissuade you from private study.  I love learning, I love studying topics that interest me.  Cultivate that interest in yourself.  Dig in and enjoy, ideas are incredible!

The Gospel of John directed by Philip Saville
Word for word this movie is the gospel of John from the Bible, well done and well acted. Watching this film over and over helped win me to Christ. Not everyone is a great reader, anybody can watch a movie.

The Atheist Delusion Movie, Ray Comfort
This documentary is simply fantastic.  The presentation of apologetics, psychological input and finally gospel description is brilliant.  Please share this one, people need to see it!

Science Confirms the Bible, Ken Ham
An excellent, powerful, and revealing presentation by Ken Ham. He used to be a high school science teacher, but now he is the leader of Answers in Genesis ministries.  It's just astonishing how we've been indoctrinated into false beliefs. In fact when you really examine history, science, and archaeology you realize it actually supports Christianity.

Evidence for God: Key Arguments for a Reasonable Faith, William Lane Craig
One of the great exponents of the Christian worldview is Professor William Lane Craig. If you are looking for a straight forward break down of the evidence for God's existence, watch this one. Craig won't dance around your emotions or appeal to your heart. Be aware of that. So if you are a straight logical evidence-based individual, then this will be useful for you.

Tortured for Christ - Richard Wurmbrand
This powerful cinematic documentary tells the true story of a minister in Romania during the communist take over of the country, and all the torture he endured at the hands of the communists, to glorify Christ.  Wurmbrand is one of the great inspirations of my life, you will be amazed.

Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, Ben Stein
This was a very eye opening experience to learn about the Darwinian dictatorship operating in the United States academic establishment.  Once again we see the mainstream media feeding the status quo, and the academic establishment absolutely shutting out any mention of intelligent design.  Fascinating, definitely a must watch!

Why are we in Decline? Cultural Marxism by Various
This documentary is all politics, but it's vital to understanding why the USA has gotten away from Christian values and how we can help bring it back.  It's very important for Christians to understand how far the USA has drifted from the Constitution and how marxism is being smuggled in through culture.  Please forgive the image of Miley Cyrus, but it's certainly a stark reminder of how the morals and values of the USA have dissolved in the past 30 years.

Evolution vs. God Documentary by Ray Comfort
Have we been indoctrinated into evolutionary beliefs without really understanding what "evolution" is or if it's even a credible theory?  Ray Comfort digs into evolution and God.

The Resurrection Argument that Changed a Generation of Scholars
A very powerful and comprehensive examination of the evidence for the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ by the renowned scholar Gary Habermas.

God of Wonders: Scientists Prove God's Existence through Science
An excellent documentary on evidence for God in nature.  This documentary takes a more Christian perspective starting off and approaches nature's complexity and wonder as signs of God's presence in the natural world.
